This has been a challenging year for us all. COVID-19 has changed our daily lives, including our business, how we connect with others and how we, as a network, support each other and our communities. Due to COVID-19, the Children’s Miracle Foundation has seen a 50% decrease in donations this year.
With the shortfall in donations from in-person fundraising events, the children’s hospitals are hurting where it matters most, like in their ability to provide the right care at the right place and time, the research and development of life-saving treatments, and the creation of healing environments to rehabilitate children and their families. That is why we are introducing a new initiative called Season of Miracles, which will run from October 26th – December 4th, and aims to fill the gap in donations to children’s hospitals across Canada. We are calling upon our network to step up and help kids in the communities you serve by offering a ONE-TIME donation.
We have already seen donations and support come pouring in from our amazing RE/MAX Network, and are thrilled to share that over $38,000 has currently been raised for Season of Miracles across Canada. Let’s keep this momentum going as we work towards our goal of $1,000,000 raised for the Children’s Miracle Network.
Since 1992, RE/MAX Agents in Canada have raised more than $79 Million in support of children’s hospitals. The funds raised are split between our Miracle Home Program, which sees RE/MAX Agents donate a portion of their commission from every transaction, as well as local fundraising events.
